Dave Jaffer is a writer, educator, and social/digital media problem solver based in Toronto, Canada.

Dave’s writing has appeared in or at: Hour Magazine, the Ottawa XPress, BangBang, Spinner, Noisecreep, FFWD Weekly, the Huffington Post, Toronto Standard, Citeeze Montréal, and The Barnstormer.

Dave has worked in social/digital for Postoneforty, All Beef Media, Unit PR, and Entrinsic (clients: Coca-Cola, Rogers On-Demand, Social Media Week Toronto) and taught courses in Social Media Marketing and Community Management at George Brown College in Toronto.

As a copywriter, his skills have been bought and paid for by C2-MTL, Tourism Montréal, M For Montréal, Maple Music, Roadrunner Records, m0851, and many others. As a consultant, he’s offered insight to the Association of Internet Marketing and Sales, Tembo Consulting, Six Shooter Records, and countless individual artists and musicians. Additionally, he has served as a panelist at SMWTO, was a member of the inaugural editorial team for C2-MTL, and is a Polaris Music Prize jurist and a judge for the Canadian Online Publishing Awards.
