Hey all.
While I have been blogging primarily at my Tumblr for a while now, I wanted a richer experience that I could exert more control over, so I switched up to WordPress. I think this platform allows me to offer a more text- and idea-based blogging platform than my Tumblr does. The rationale was essentially this: I don’t want to rebrand my Tumblog; I want it to be the wicked depository of awesome that it’s been since its inception until time stops and we all turn to dust (or, like, a year from now). I did, however, want a place that I could write critically and seriously about things in the spirit of the kinds of posts, on my Tumblog, that were a little more serious and thoughtful than the rest.
For example, contrast this with this. It’s almost hard to understand that those are both products of the same content creator person. Or, if not hard, then, well, I just wanted a new blog, okay?
I don’t know if anything I write will ever be referred to as trenchant, but, as anyone who’s ever met me knows, I like to talk, and I can do it at a high rate of speed. That happens with my typing as well.
