Up early.
(Well, not early, but early. You know?)
Oh fuck, I have brunch with Ellen at 11. I won’t make it.

Meet her at 12. Naturally.
This is good. Sparrow is just opening.

When people talk about the things that they miss from their youth, I always think of those days me and my best friend Lorne spent out playing baseball or hockey until our parents, with some combination of exasperation and thank God they’re not in the house in their voices, called us in for supper. As a boy I played soccer, baseball and volleyball and competed in various track and field events. Later, in high school, I played soccer, football, rugby and lacrosse and ran track. I also dabbled in a bit of basketball, Nordic skiing and golf. Read the rest of this entry »
